Combined Cadet Force

The Jewellery Quarter Academy is a partner school of the RAF section of the Combined Cadet Force.

Starting from September 2018 Jewellery Quarter Academy has started to expand our CCF contingent to students in Year 8-10. The contingent meets every Thursday after school.

As the program develops their will be increasing opportunities for students in Years 8-10 to take part in outbound activities, meet new,exciting and interesting people, gain additional qualifications and develop a range of life-skills to support a healthy life style and career development.

Why do we have a CCF?

The Combined Cadet Force (CCF) is a Ministry of Defense sponsored youth organisation in the United Kingdom. Its aim is to provide a disciplined organisation in a school so that pupils may develop powers of leadership by means of training to promote the qualities of responsibility, self reliance, resourcefulness, endurance and perseverance.
