I am Katie Lowbridge, the SENDCO at JQA and I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to our new and upcoming SEND Page.
During this difficult period, which involves a great deal of home schooling, I decided to put together this page to support you, our amazing parents and carers and our learners who have special educational needs.
This page contains some useful information for parents/carers on how to support your child during home learning and also some suitable web links that your child can access if they are struggling to complete the work provided by their class teachers or most importantly need some well-being support.
We hope that you find this page useful. It will be regularly updated so please check this page and look out for notifications on our Piota Schools app.
If you have any feedback or information you would like to see included on this page, please do not hesitate to contact me via email: [email protected]
Don’t be strangers. Stay in touch, stay safe and stay happy!
These sites will support your child with improving their basic vocabulary and are particularly useful if your child cannot access other resources provided by school.
We are aware that some families and schools are experiencing getting in touch with the SENAR team. Please note the NEW contact details if you need to get in touch with the team who will ensure your enquiry is dealt with in a timely manner.
Families who would like to speak to someone about their child, please call our Parent Link Service on 0121 303 8461 or email [email protected]
